So tonight we decided to have dinner out and my last stop after shopping was to Subway for everyone here at the house. Well in case you have not noticed I go nowhere without a coupon in hand! I purchased 2 Footlong Subs and 2 pizzas. The coupon was for buy one 6″ with a drink get a 6″ free. Technically I had 4 six inches here and could have used 2 coupons but there is something on there about one per person so I did not break the rules since i didnt have another family member to check themselves out on it.
So I got to pay hand over my coupon and the guy tells me “Ummmm mam you don’t have a six inch sub here” My response…:”REALLY!!?? Yeah you are right I have 4 six inch subs.” His response “ughhhhhhhh ummm” then a pause like he had no clue what to say next. So I pointed to them and said that has 2 six inch subs in it as well as THAT one if you need to unwrap them and re-wrap them separately so I can use the coupon please do so. “ugh I guess that makes sense”
WHY DIDN’T IT TO BEGIN WITH!?
Seriously am I wrong here? I have done this many many times before and asked the first time I ever did it and they said that was fine it made sense to them and to me it makes sense. Why waste another piece of paper to wrap a sub that is exactly the same! Plus have you ever seen them “divide” a roll in half?? I want my whole 12 in of sub that I pay for half of it being free or not.
This conversation was debated at the dinner table tonight and even my 7 year old understood what a six inch sub was.
Thoughts on this?? Boy what a night in Red Lion. Cross walk chic then this!
